The project aims to develop a service point for motorhomes and tourist buses in Grimslöv, as part of a long-term investment in sustainable development in the Åsnen region.

About the project

The service point will offer emptying of chemical toilets and gray water, refilling of fresh water, electric posts, toilet and shower with code lock, as well as a payment system that benefits collaborating actors. The project also includes signage, map materials, and parking spaces for motorhomes. The goal is to create a gateway to Åsnens National Park, reduce car traffic in sensitive areas, and promote cycling tourism via the railway embankment trail. The project strengthens the local economy through increased visitor services and collaboration between businesses, associations, and tourist organizations.

The board's motivation
