Strategy
We work to make our area even more attractive. It should be possible for people to stay in the countryside, and also to leave the city for a life here with more time for themselves, family, and personal interests. To make this possible, we have developed a strategy, with goals for our area.
Our strategy and project support 2022-2027
We have based our work on our area, and our local needs and opportunities, when we have developed our strategy for the period 2023-2027. We want to see a vibrant countryside, where all residents have the opportunity to develop, support themselves, and have a meaningful leisure time. Here we want there to be meeting places and activities year-round, where different people can meet. We also need to have access to good service nearby – and for that, new ideas and solutions are required. The entrepreneurial spirit that exists here should lead to new goods, services, and working methods in the coming years. It is also important for us to take advantage of the natural values that exist in our area. Nature can become accessible to more people, while being managed sustainably.
Our goals
At Leader Linné, you can apply for project support within four different goal areas that have been developed for the period 2023-2027. We describe these in detail below, as well as which project support you can apply for within each goal.
Our project support
With us, you can apply for five different types of project support and feasibility studies, within our goal areas. These five supports work towards our goals, but tackle them in different ways. For you as an applicant, it is important that your idea fits into one of our goal areas. It is also fine to apply for support to conduct a feasibility study.

Goal 1
People feel a sense of community and engagement
Access to meeting places and activities is important throughout the year, and new initiatives can fill gaps so that there is a supply in our rural areas during all months of the year. We want to see projects that contribute to social meeting places that unite people who otherwise do not meet.

Goal 2
Thriving businesses and entrepreneurial spirit
In our area, there is a clear entrepreneurial spirit, and we see even more development potential. We want to support projects that contribute to new innovative goods, services, and working methods. We also want to support capacity-building efforts, and new collaborative solutions that can create long-lasting effects.

Goal 3
Accessible nature and
sustainable living environments
Nature is an important resource in our area, contributing to our area's attractiveness and bringing good health effects. We want nature to be used sustainably – not harmed or exploited. We want to see project ideas that create destinations for a broader target group or make nature accessible in various ways. We also want to support projects that focus on the climate.

Goal 4
Good service nearby
To be able to live and thrive in the countryside, schools for children, accessible care, proximity to grocery stores, and functioning communications are required. When these are lacking or insufficient, new solutions are needed. This is the type of rural development we want to support – and we believe you have the ideas that can create good service where you live.

Indicators – this is what we also measure
In addition to following your fantastic project results, we also monitor selected areas by measuring positive progress related to our goals. This could include new businesses started, new meeting places opened, or the number of participants in a project. In the documents below, you can read about the measurable values we use for the projects that work towards our four different goals.
