RC-local
Sävsjö RC Club
The project aims to create a permanent and accessible venue for remote-controlled car sports in Sävsjö.
About the project
Today, the activities are conducted in a sports hall with limited opening hours, which hinders the development of the sport and the club's activities. By upgrading a new venue with, among other things, a control tower, toilets, a kiosk, and furnishings, an attractive meeting place is created for both children, youth, and adults – including people with disabilities. The project makes it possible to offer regular training, trial activities, and competitions year-round, which strengthens inclusion and gives more people the opportunity to participate in a unique hobby that complements the traditional leisure offerings.

The board's motivation
The board grants support as the project is locally anchored, innovative, and well thought out. It creates a new meeting place that increases accessibility and broadens the target group for leisure activities. The investment makes it possible to offer an inclusive activity where even those with limited finances can participate by borrowing equipment. The project has high implementation capacity and will benefit many in the community.
