Anchoring Keys

to young engagement

Theater 16 wants to strengthen the civil society's ability to engage young people by spreading and further developing the method Keys to young engagement

About the project

Theater 16 wants to strengthen the civil society's ability to engage young people by spreading and further developing the method Keys to young engagement. In the project, the association will support other organizations in how they can meet young people and create real participation.

Through consultations, workshops, training, and podcasts, knowledge and tools are spread that make it easier to work long-term with young people's engagement. The work builds on the experiences from the previous project and develops models that support associations wanting to understand and strengthen young people's motivations.

What are Keys to young engagement?

At Theater 16 in Ljungby, young people have long been an obvious part of the operation. But what is it that actually makes young people engage in an organization? That question led to the Leader project Keys to young engagement, where the association wanted to articulate its own successes and create a model that can be used by others.

The board's motivation

The project strengthens young people's engagement in association life through a new method model, in line with the strategy's goals of increased sense of community and engagement year-round. It contributes to renewal in civil society and creates inclusive meeting places.
