Development of kitchens and accessibility at
Näsuddens restaurant
The project aims to further develop the Näsuddens restaurant by Lake Hindsen into a more accessible, safe and functional meeting place in the countryside.
About the project
By investing in new, modern kitchen equipment and a digital locking system for the public toilets, the restaurant's capacity to receive more visitors, arrange activities and collaborate with associations and educational activities is strengthened.
The initiative creates better conditions for internships in restaurants and cooking, especially for young people and students from culinary education, and contributes to increased accessibility for the public all year round. The project strengthens the place's role as a local meeting point, service function and tourist destination in Värnamo municipality.

The board's motivation
The board decides to grant the project as it develops
an activity in a natural environment and makes it more accessible, safe and functional for more people. Through improved facilities, increased accessibility to services and activities for different target groups, the project contributes to increased social cohesion, participation and well-being in the local community. The project owners are actively working to include
young people and will provide a safe environment for young people to stay in.
Note that the Swedish Board of Agriculture makes the formal decision.
