Micro support

Does your company, association, or organization have an idea that develops our rural areas, but needs a smaller support to get started? Then we want to suggest our micro-support!

Our smallest and most flexible support

About micro-support

  • The areas in which we offer micro-support vary. Each support has a specific pot of money to distribute.
  • We accept applications for micro-support on an ongoing basis.
  • We have a special micro-support for young people decided by young people!

Keep this in mind!

Let it be visible that you have received support from Leader

All projects that have Leader funding must show this by using our logos. This applies to advertisements, information sheets, websites, and social media. The logos can be downloaded on the page Forms and info. There you will also find ready-made templates for certain channels.

We are happy to help you spread information about your initiative in our channels – feel free to tag us to draw our attention to what is happening with @leaderlinne.

Did it not turn out as you intended?

It is important that you follow your decision and work according to the project plan. But we know that things can change, or not always turn out as planned. Then it is important that you contact us to apply for a change of the decision regarding support. You need to do this if the direction, budget, financing plan, timeline, or any other essential aspect changes.

Contact our case officer Emilie directly, and she will help you with how to proceed!

Tips and advice

Apply for an advance

There is an opportunity to apply for an advance if the applying organization has difficulty covering the costs upfront. Contact the Leader team if you want to apply for an advance. Justify why you need to apply for an advance and how large a portion of the granted support you need in advance.

Expenses and standard costs

  • Food/lunch – 100 SEK excl. VAT/person
    Unit cost.
To report the expense, a participant list, receipt, and proof of payment are required. Deductions will be made if the amount for food per person exceeds 100 SEK excl. VAT.
  • Mileage = 40 SEK/mile
    Unit cost.
To report the expense, a correctly filled out travel log is required. Remember to provide a complete address.
  • Coffee break – maximum amount 60 SEK excl. VAT/person To report the expense, a participant list, receipt, and proof of payment are required. Expenses for snacks are reimbursed with actual costs but with a maximum of 60 SEK excluding VAT per person.
  • Own work 340 SEK/hour – only for sole proprietorships/partnerships. Reported per hour with a project diary.

Report the voluntary time

Facilitate the work of reporting voluntary time by writing down your hours continuously throughout the project period. You can account for your time from the day your application was submitted to us.

Forms for time reporting are available on the page Forms and logos but it is perfectly fine to create your own lists in, for example, Excel. The important thing is to indicate who has done something, when it was done, and what has been done. The lists also need to include contact details, such as phone numbers, for those who have contributed with voluntary work.

Submit the forms for voluntary time to us via email during the reporting. A summary of the voluntary time should be stated in the final report.

Documentation for the reporting

When you have completed your microproject, it is time to finalize the reporting. By the project's end date, the following documents must be submitted to us via email:

  • Invoices and receipts
  • Proof of payment from the bank showing that you have paid the expense
  • Any marketing materials (to verify logos)
  • Participant list for food/snack expenses
  • Mileage log for expenses for mileage reimbursement
  • Completed final report
  • Project diary for voluntary work
  • Project diary for expenses for own work (sole proprietorship)
  • Image/images showing the implementation of the microproject

Conclude the project

Time to report?

When the project is complete, you should submit a final report to us. Go to the page for your micro support to find the form you should use to write the final report.

When you submit it, you should also include copies of all receipts, invoices, and any tickets you have had that were included in your budget. If you have had marketing in the project, we would like you to also include ads and posters or other materials. It is important that the logos are included. If you have been featured in the newspaper, please attach the articles. Please read through the handbook again to ensure everything is included.

Submit the reporting to emilie@leaderlinne.se.

After the project

We want to hear how it went!

We find it exciting and rewarding to follow our projects. You are our ambassadors and may inspire others to apply for micro support or learn about the Leader method.

Our communicator Sofia would be happy to contact you after the project to follow up on how it went, but if you want to share something you are particularly pleased with, please do not hesitate to reach out and let us know directly.
