Backup power nydala
This project is a sub-activity within the micro-support ”Rusta Bygden-fund”.
About the project
Nydala village association wants to develop Nydala café into a safe gathering place during crises or power outages. By installing a backup power connection, the building can remain open when the electricity goes out, providing villagers the opportunity to warm up, charge phones, and receive information. The project builds on local engagement around preparedness and community and aims to strengthen safety in the area.
To implement the initiative, support is needed for the installation of backup power. The café is already used as a meeting place for various activities and will function as a local safety point after the project. The effort contributes both to increased crisis preparedness and to a stronger network and collaboration in the village.
