UKM Countdown Live
About the project
UKM Countdown Live was a music festival created by young organizers within Teater 16, who wanted to give young cultural practitioners in Ljungby a place to meet, be inspired, and perform before the big UKM festival (Young Culture Meets) in March. The festival took place at Lokal 16 and featured three hours of live music with several young bands and artists. The purpose was to create an inclusive meeting place where young people could both be on stage and work behind the scenes – and gain experience in organizing a public event. The result was a successful evening with engaged musicians, crew, and audience, and the project provided valuable knowledge for upcoming cultural events.

About Up to us!
Micro-support is a smaller sum of money that is easier to apply for and quicker to get a response on. Up to us! is our special support for those aged 13-25 who, either individually or within their association, want to try something new and contribute to a more attractive countryside for other young people.

The Youth Agency's motivation:
