Biking and rafting in Möckeln
This project is a sub-activity within the micro-support ”Startgas”.
About the project
The project aims to develop a new form of nature tourism in Kronoberg through bikerafting – a combination of cycling and paddling with packraft. The initiative is based in Älmhult and focuses on exploring and creating routes in the areas around Möckeln, Lagan, and Åsnen.
Through study visits, education, and practical field studies, the project has investigated how the operation can function in practice and what opportunities exist for collaborations with local actors. The results show that there is potential to offer both guided tours and rental of equipment, as well as to develop packages together with companies in tourism and service. The investment contributes to strengthening sustainable tourism and creating new experiences in the region.
About Startgas
This project has received one of our micro-supports. These are our smaller supports that are easier to apply for and quicker to obtain.
