This project is a sub-activity within the micro-support ”Community Lift”.
About the project
The Adult Education Association wants to arrange a Rural Community Week in Sävsjö and Värnamo municipalities together with several rural community associations. During the week, a wide program with cultural events, lectures, music, and try-it-out activities for both children, youth, and adults will be offered.
The purpose is to strengthen the community in rural areas, attract new target groups to the rural community centers, and create more meeting places where people can gather. The project will also contribute to combating loneliness and inspire more people to engage voluntarily. The ambition is to establish the Rural Community Week as a recurring event that can continue and develop in the future.
About Community Lift
This project has received one of our micro-supports. These are our smaller supports that are easier to apply for and quicker to obtain. Community Lift is for associations and passionate individuals who want to try something new and contribute to a stronger local community.
