narrative grave site
This project is a sub-activity within the micro-support ”Community Lift”.
About the project
Agunnaryd's local heritage association wants to bring the history of the region to life by making life stories visible in the cemetery. By producing short stories about people who are buried there and linking these to QR codes at the graves, visitors can access the stories via mobile or tablet.
The project combines genealogy, local memories, and visual material to create accessible stories about everything from gentry to cottage dwellers. The initiative contributes to preserving cultural heritage and creating a new experience of the cemetery as a destination. The goal is to strengthen both local identity and interest in the region, while the project can be further developed with more stories and presentations in the future.
